These cutters cut only the periphery cylindrical, producing flat surfaces parallel to the axis of the tool. Are standardized, eg in DIN 884, being characterized by the diameter, width and type. There are three main types: N (normal), H (for hard materials) and W (for soft). Example: 50 x 40 N DIN 884.
