Atividades:
Have operational responsibility for a component or sub-module delivery.
Drive the work from an operational perspective.
Have a capacity to work individually or with a small team actively to secure the deliverables.
Lead mechanical design engineering activities in a particular area.
Play an active role in the delivery. Integrate deliveries from others and secure quality before release.
Ensure the designs fulfill business targets, requirements and Project & Product Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature targets and report the same in project forums.
Create or update CAD Models and Part Drawings with CREO-Parametric.
Document design change notices and structure components in the PDM system.
Ensure component durability by requesting analysis and/or applicable tests.

Requisitos:

Requisitos:
Master of Science (equivalent to Mechanical Engineer Degree in Brazil);
Experience as Product Development Engineer in automotive solutions or Heavy Duty Truck Industry is required.
Knowledge of Chassis Equipment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of 3D CAD (CREO – AVP) experience is required.
Knowledge of Volvo DVP is preferred.
Knowledge in application of Quality tools (Risk analysis, DFMEA, etc.).
Important requirement: Fluent in English and Portuguese in both written and oral.
Show high interest in technology development, truck business and its applications.
Customer focus as well as quality and cost improvement mindset.
Curious, creative, open minded and communicative mindset.
Ability to work both independently, with cross functional teams and different stakeholders.
Eager to learn quickly when facing new problems, analyzing areas for improvements and quickly adapt to changes.
